I'm writing this review for the VENUE itself rather than the events that I usually attend. This venue is amazing.  They've done an amazing job restoring and preserving the historic opulence of the LA Stock Exchange.  The high ceilings allow for breathing room and circulation and the lighting/sound system is pretty stellar! My biggest gripe about this venue is probably just the entrance to the bathroom area.  Very narrow hallway that splits into men's bathroom on one side and women's bathroom on the other.  The bathroom itself (I've only been in the women's =P) is pretty large and spacious so the line goes fast and there's actually room for a line to form.  But still...the area outside is a complete bottleneck fail. Drinks are relatively strong and the prices are pretty standard of LA nightlife~ Street parking and cheap lots are plentiful and the Falls and Spring St. Bar are right next door~  Not to mention some of the best ghetto dog carts are usually parked right outside of the entrance =P Overall, I love this venue! PS: A TIP TO THE LADIES IN SHORT SKIRTS ON THE BALCONY...The view from the bar DOWNSTAIRS is REALLY good...

Being here tonight made me throw up on my soul. I wanted to call my credit card in stolen, so as to erase any record of my presence, but I just couldn't leave the little guy behind. That kind of friendship ought to get me my own American Express commercial.
