3 stars for the Japanese theme and aerobic dancers in the air - totally gimmicky and best place to bring out of town friends. Not my favorite club because: tables and benches in the middle of the dance floor? Awkward. Crowd usually stand around/ hang out instead of dancing? Boring. Go to a bar instead.  They don't make long island ice teas? What? I dunno, the gimmcky things got played out really quick so I started going to other clubs around the area.

I was excited to come here for my bf's cousin's birthday.  The bf said its a nice place and pretty classy.  (That was his line to get me to go, since I don't like to go clubbing because of all the ghetto wackheads our there...) 1 star for the nicely decorated venue. Red, plush couches along the perimeter of the club and really cool chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. And it all goes down from there.  When I got there, the first thing I noticed was the funk in the air.  "WTF was that?" I says.  The BF thought they didnt take out their trash, but boy that smell was wicked.  It definitely smelled like dying fish at the fish market.  I'd rather stand in between 2 homeless people who havent seen a bottle of shampoo or a shower in 3 years.  The worst thing was that it wasn't a smell that lingered away like a fart.  The smell was coming through their ventilation system and everytime the air blew through the vents the wave of stinky putrid fish smell filled the area... UGH! Then whoever was djying was HORRIBLE!!! I know its hard to get up there are do your thing, but come on! Whoever he was had no energy and second of all he had no skills.  Ugh! The crowd was awful.  They were not good looking, nor did they dress nice... Now I may not be a hottie, or dress like I got racks of money in the bank, but there were people in the club wearing flip flops and hoodies.  WTF? I cant blame the people though... Its the club's management that should be to blame.  They allowed hoodrats and squares to mingle with us normal folk and it was all too weird. To top it off, while in our VIP booth, there was this totally raunchy couple and they were making out and grinding on each other a little too close to our booth. One of our peeps was about to say something to them but they left after a while.  Another thing about the management... if they had a properly trained wait staff, he/she should have made sure that we did not have to witness anything that would make us sick to our stomachs and would have shooed those party-goers away. Later on after, there was some guy who was going around to the girls in our group and kept asking them to dance with him.  This guy (who was wearing an incredibly ugly scarf) had already been warned by one of the guys, that we were all taken and not to bother us again.  And YAY for me, I was his next victim.  I politely said "NO." And he pestered me again.  So I said, "NO, I do NOT want to dance with you." And gestured a "go away" move with my hands. He asked me again to dance with him, and here comes my bf who just had to teach him a lesson... Needless to say, scarf guy got his ass handed to him on a platter. Later as we were going through pictures, we realized scarf guy was the same guy who was dry humping the girl near our booth. The management and employees that worked that night should have done a better job who they let in.  If someone is gonna throw massive ends on a  booth and 2 bottles, then please don't allow poorly dressed, perverted douchebags that can't take no for an answer into the club! Please think twice about having a special occasion here. Its a waste of your money and your night.

I work across the street from Parish so have ended up there a few times. I've gone to dinner once about a year ago - the bbq shrimp everyone raves about was overcooked. Everything else was mediocre. I've been to the downstairs for lunch a bit more. Cute store, it's a nice spot for a casual business lunch. I''ve had the grits and eggs and sausage special - That Sausage is FANTASTIC. Everything else - hard to mess up. The sandwiches are about as overpriced as I have seen besides Katz's deli in NYC. And I can't figure out if a side comes with them or not for the price, I don't think so though. In conclusion, yeah, I'd go for lunch occasionally but not back for dinner.
