by Berna T. on My idea of a good time doesn't always include hanging out in the "Loin, but this week's DYL was just within walking distance of my apartment which let me conveniently leave the vehicle parked safely - and allowed me to drink (ir)responsibly. The bartender who started off our night, Justin, was friendly and had some really cool tattoos. I sat at the bar with a couple of friends and chatted while sipping some Maker's Mark (with a ginger back). The bar pretty much cleared out when the DYL crew decided to head over to a different bar at about...oh I have no idea what time...but I remember I was about four or five whiskeys deep and about $40 poorer, which means that the drinks weren't too expensive and I tipped on every pour. Crap, my head hurts.
