by Liz S. on Fondue Fabulous !! Dante's is located behind this new looking building. You have to kind of walk behind this white building to find Dante's. It's like hidden treasure. When you walk in you feel like you've entered a secret little night club. I love the crocodiles. You can hear jazz music throughout Dante's. I've been to eat at Dante's several times and I still find new and interesting stuff to look at every time I go. Even a trip to the bathroom at Dante's is interesting. Dante's is a great place for a date, a night out with friends, or a family night. We usually start our feast with the imported cheese fondue dinner. We get the cheese fondue dinner as an appetizer. Your server will bring out a bowl of tasty cheese to dip french and honey nut bread in. I'm not a veggie lover, but the little tomatoes dipped in the cheese are great. They give you broccoli and apples to dip in cheese, too. For our main meal we usually order the Mandarin Fondue. This is a combination of lightly breaded shrimp, some seasoned chicken, beef, and pork. They give you different types of dipping sauces for your meats. They explain how long you need to cook each type of meat. I've had their cheesecake and it was good. Our servers have always been great. They keep our glasses full and never butt in while we are talking. They have really good timing. The first time I ate at Dante's I was not a huge fan of fondue. Now, when we go to Dante's I always find myself thinking -- what else can I deep in cheese. It's just nice to eat somewhere that's not the same old boring eating experience.

The cocktail waitress looked (who picked the gold shimmer skirts and hooker shoes?) and acted (gum chewing? OH no nO NO!) like a two dollar whore! The DJ was on crack! Rick Dees' 93.9 does a better job! :( The bartender, even though he was pretty, was dumber than a bag of hammers. How do you screw up a GG-tonic and a Corona? Not once, TWICE! I'd really hate to see what happens on a night when it's packed. What is up with those bathrooms? Can you say prison industrial and WAY bad lighting! Eleven, I'll give you one star because you at least tried to be pretty and in WeHo being pretty gets you...... oh nevermind! WeHo may be a town full of 10's looking for 11's. but for now I'd say you might want to pass by this Eleven until he/she can FOYL.
