by Yoanna L. on horrible obnoxious jerk bouncers!!! especially the big guy that looks like the main character in green mile!! but his attitude was not like the character in green mile, he was like the monster version. the "lawn area" was so PACKED that there was a guy that was standing near the dirt area and the green mile dude screamed at him "GET OFF MY LAWN! GET OFF THE LAWN! NOW!"...ok ..is that really necessary? all he had to do was come up to him and tell him nicely. No one was drunk at this point. We were all just waiting to get in... TO GET DRUNK! I came with 5 girls and waited patiently for 1.5 hours!! WTF! they kept saying "WE ARE AT CAPACITY!!! BUTTTTT!!! if you want to spend $350 plus tax and tips which comes to $500, then you can come in - AND YES! WE ARE AT CAPACITY!" --- After they said all that, they let about another 60 people. i guess yesterday was a super packed night because the last time I went, i got there at 12:45PM and there was no one there and we just got in no problem. oh yea, even though there was no one there except our party, the green mile dude still made us stand on the "lawn area". Suggestions to My House Management: CREATE A DAMN LINE! there are 6 bouncers there. 3 standing around, 2 screaming, 1 doing nothing. CMON NOW! it's not difficult to tell sober people to stand in line.
by MiRIAM w. on I hope Bruno's does open back up. I can't comment on the food or the drinks because I came for the music. Seeing tenor saxophonist Dave Ellis perform in this intimate venue was a real treat.
