by Rachel D. on In defense of Carnival, I was one of those VIP jerks that paid for a table on Halloween. It was worth it. My group got a small booth on the top floor as home base. We had bottle service, but Carnival surprised us with a "drunk tank" or GIANT fish bowl of alcohol. It did the trick. I don't think anyone in my group bought any drinks beyond that. We danced our feet off, played all the games, and acquired two goldfish, loving named Hallo and Ween. The only disappointment was from the lack of food. We were told we couldn't order anything because the kitchen was closed, meanwhile the table next door was enjoying a giant plate of wings. We may have stole some of them. I still want an alcoholic snow cone!!
by flashegirl e. on this is the ultimate bar. good drinks! talented bartenders. excellent prices and it's still a little secrete but i don't think for long (give it a month). the bar is cozy but still plenty of standing room. no pool table though, even though the neon sign outside advertise it. that's ok. we go for the drinks not the pool. AND come on, it's right behind the 38 bus depot hut. easy coming in and easy going out! don't mistake the sign, it's not "RoRo", it's "KoKo"! :)
