by Art C. on Wow! Last Monday was madness! Before this time I have been to Trigger one time for their "Cinco de Mayo" party soon after they opened. Needless to say I never went back (Gosh! 20 bucks for two Coronas upstairs?) The party last Monday was way different. It was 80's night, and yet it was not like the 80 cent drink special where all the kiddies with their fake ID's used to abuse at the BOCastro. The music and videos were awesome, the dance floor not so much (small), and yet there was this vibe where gay, straight, questioning, or just confused just fused in for a really good time, whether you remembered Simple Minds as your class group best song or not, those 1 dollar Cape Cods easily made it all better. Cain't Wait For The Next Party!
by Katie Q. on I just had a "Jazz Brunch" here on Sunday- the music was awesome but my eggs benedict was served on a hamburger roll with the worst hollandaise I have ever tasted...ick. Randomly served with a side of mashed potatoes with a yellow tomato plopped in the middle for "decor". Plus it was 20 bucks!...For eggs!...That sucked to boot! My stop at Murray's Bagels on the way home fed my stomach- the amazing Jazz trio fed the soul.
