Mmmmmazing! After dining at Cafe Lift a few different times now, I can tell that this is quickly becoming one of my favorite breakfast spots in the city. Also as a gluten-free diner, they have many options to choose from. Just make sure you remind your waiter that you have a wheat allergy so they don't accidentally place any bread on your plate. The place is always busy, but their staff is super efficient and I never feel like I have to wait too long. They have a small waiting area and you can always order hot beverages near the cafe counter. I have tried a couple different Frittatas and I've loved each one of them. Their spicy Italian Fennel Sausage is the best breakfast sausage I've ever had. Period. I used to think Sabrina's was the best, but Cafe Lift has convinced me otherwise. Next on my list is their Heuvos Rancheros, I hear it's unbelievable. The service is friendly, helpful and quick. The space is open with clean modern lines. The food is amazingly delicious every time, what more could one want?

Went here the other night for a friends birthday gathering, they sat us right in the middle of what is later the dancefloor. Decor is great very tropical and you have a very big space with bars, tables, seating by the bay, and suites upstairs for special occassions. For appetizers we all had a sampler that included fried pork chunks with onions--yum, croquetas de hamon, very crispy and good as well, stuffed plantain cups with shrimp that I didnt get to try ...grrrr someone beat me to it, tamale de puerco, which was a bit salty for my taste and my fave---papa rellenas!!! A cuban girl cant help herself! They gave us also complimentary cuban bread with garlic and butter very good as well. To drink I ordered the mango-rita $11 which I wanted it frozen but my boyfriend didnt tell the waiter so it came on the rocks. A bit watery and you could very well taste the tequila but I chugged it down anywayz. My boyfriend ordered coronas which are always good. For dinner I ordered vaca frita de pollo which was fried with onions and on the side got morros with maduros. The plates were huge $15 and vaca frita was good, I needed I bit more limes so it wouldnt be so dry but Im so clumsy mine fell on the floor. Dinner was pleasant although they I.D like a bitch , especially if you're going to drink and later on when it turns into a nightclub--these big guys come up to your table and if youre staying to drink and dance they ask for i.d i told them i left mine at home bc im not 21 but the guy asked how old I am and i said 20 which is true and he was very nice and said ok no alcoholic drinks. They gave me a pink wristband that says no alcohol while those 21+ get a checkered wristband. If I wouldve known that then I wouldve just given him my i.d. Anywayz so it wuz about 10:15 we have to wait for everyone to finish eating and then they start clearing the tables. So we went outside where it was set up there was a buffet looking table where theyre cooking appetizers, bars set up and a v.i.p. space also they were playing salsa first later reggaeton. Of course being that it is Miami you have alot of ppl who think they look good and can dance and they end up making a fool of themselves, so its def. something to laugh about. Add some drinks in the mix and it gets even funnier. Later I ordered a mojito which was horrible!!! Waterey, bitter and did not taste like a mojito, of course i was forced to chug it after my b.f paid about $10 for it. The only good drink was a shot of patron that went down smooth. The scene here is latin of course, alot of young ppl who think theyre all that but also older crowds here and there are slutty bartenders and dancers but I guess thats miami for u. We and my honey were burning it up on the dancefloor inside which was packed but we had a good time for about 2-3 hours.Would come again for the food and especially if you want to throw a b-day or special event.

I think this is one of my favorite spots in Philly! I love coming here for their food: lunch and dinner. Happy hours on the rooftop are always excellent. And cannot forget, they have my one of my favorite drinks, "Grape Crush"!  It literally tastes like grape kool aid or grape bubble yum in a glass w/ vodka! I was very disturbed when they I went to the Old City location and they had a completely different drink menu WITHOUT my "Grape Crush" :-( boo So overall: - Ambiance - Yay! - "Grape Crush" - Double Yay! - Food - love it all (and may have tried it all by now) ooh we did have a pissy bartender one time, but I won't hold that against them.  I still love it here!
