I found a new drink, a Manhattan with a splash of Kahlua thanks to the sexy bartender. I liked what she had on. We got the foie gras, it was good. The bread was served in iron pot, fresh little buns with a parsley sauce. I wanted butter and salt though. And french fries with parmeasan truffle, first weren't fries, they were rectangle potatoes, to much starch..they def need some truffle ketchup. It's another very modern, sexy place in the meatpacking district, people that want to spend their money kind of atmosphere. Not my kind of dish.
by Julia W. on "I've got girls puking in stereo!" (said the bouncer one crazy eve here). This venue is my drug...a very naughty drug indeed because everytime I come here...it gets crazy. Maybe thanks should go to the Matt the Bartender who never fails to serve up some kick ass drinks and take care of his regulars...or myabe thanks is due to the bands I see play who just happen to be people I know...who knows? All I know is du Nord never fails. I have enjoyed my 24th here, my friend's 25th and countless other parties and concerts. This place has got it...vibe, drink, food, culture, and most of all...music!
