This was one of my favorite places when I was living back in Philadelphia (2003-5). It was in University City so it was not so close to the usual party area of Old City (which could be a good/bad thing, take your pick) so the crowd was more of the Penn/Drexel students & some others who were willing to venture to this part of town. The front lounge part was always crowded & fun, & I was a huge fan of the sit-down/light-up white short stools that lined that front section (Fatty that I am, I even broke one once; I had pulled the plug out of the socket by accident-sorry). I even had a birthday here & the 7 of us girls piled into the 1st pod on the left side & irritated patrons by constantly pushing the 9 colored light pad. The macadamia chicken stir fry was a hit as always, & their version of caesar salad was pretty enjoyable also. I'll be honest, it was on a Tuesday so it wasn't too hard to obtain one of those dining pods, but we had a fun time & the staff was really pleasant also. I would return when in the area, hoping not much has changed.

After paying an expensive cover and getting frisked at the door, I was hoping for more than a bad DJ and having beer poured into a plastic cup. Although maybe being frisked should have clued me in that I couldn't be trusted with a glass bottle. I went on a Friday night, and the DJ was trying to do something approaching mash-up, but failed miserably.

Went here last night on a Friday night. This place was actually cool! The decor is awesome! I went with a group of friends and we had a great time. We got a table around 11pm and ordered some food that was pretty damn good, it's basically Mexican gourmet food. This would also be a great place for a date. After we were finished eating we went to the bar and got a few more drinks then headed outside to the patio where it was poppin'!  I didn't know it was that full out there! Plus there was a bar outside as well which is sweet! The drinks were just about write not too stiff but decent! (for me at least!) Everything was reasonably priced as well. They have a very large and extensive tequila menu, I wanted some but I just had no idea what I wanted so I settled for jager (haha). This is definitely somewhere I would want to come back to, actually try the tequila... who wants to come!? Also, this place is by everything! Big Wangs, Beauty Bar, Sunset, you name it..
