We went here after going elsewhere and unfortunately because I don't have a vagina I had to pay $20.  I have never seen a place so unorganized in my life.  There were probably 10 people working the entrance, they were swearing at each other and talking about how one of the guys "took someone else's bag" and how he was lucky to have gotten any at all... what exactly does that mean when the entire club smells like they're venting weed through the air conditioning system? The basement is the club, ground floor is the restaurant and the roof top bar is.. well, on the roof.  We came for the club but the restaurant looks pretty nice.  Downstairs there was plenty of man handling and whoring going on and at $8 a beer I'd say these people aren't here to drink.  The music isn't that bad, they mixed in some classics, not just new hipty-hop, but the JayZ and Oasis mash up and the guy with the fanny pack made the night. It's not a terrible place, I'd get there before 11 next time to skip the cover and check out the rooftop bar next time 'round.

First time at Dragonfly on a Monday night and I was impressed. In addition to the good music and the "loungy" atmosphere, it happened to also be a live art night. Artists galore! Painting, tattooing, DJing... such talent bombs! Turned my 4 stars into 5. It wasn't even too crowded since all the rooms were opened up for the event and the chill dress code made it easier for myself to enjoy the night even more (no heels for once, thank you!) I plan to go more often in the future because like I tell my friends, I'm always down for a good time even with a little alcohol involved =)

Went here for my company's holiday staff party last night. We had the ballroom from 6-9 p.m. and then some, and it was an interesting space. The food wasn't that great -- not sure if it was catered by someone outside or by the hall -- and consisted primarily of pasta salad and cold cuts. The bartenders I interacted with were all quite nice, and the staff -- including the DJ -- seemed to enjoy hanging out with the people at the party while they were working. The 7&7 I had was fine, and they had Sapporo in bottles. A fun space. Be sure to give the dude in the bathroom a dollar for working the sink for you. Also, coat check is apparently mandatory, and if you lose your ticket, you need to stick around until 4 a.m., so don't lose your ticket!
