by kelly f. on I have been to Grace many times in the past and always enjoy their beer selection, addictive burgers and enjoyable service...BUT tonight was different. Yes the burgers were still delicious, but really could a person be so horrible at their job? After getting our first round of drinks and ordering the blackened green beans to start, the barmaid did not come back to the table until we were drooling to order burgers. She preceeded to ask if we wanted to wait to order until the green beans came out. Thankfully we did not, because we never got the green beans. She never came back to check on us and when I was just about to get up so I could get something to drink she scolded me for having my legs on the chair next to mine! Mind you there was no one in the room and only 3 at the bar! (I'm pretty sure my legs are much cleaner then most behinds) I have been in the service industry for many years now and never had such outrageous service. When times are tough and people are dying to work, how could someone like this slip through the cracks?! Oh grace, I will make sure to visit when i know Reese or Ian are behind the bar.
by Christinia Blankenbecler on I gave it a three. And here's why. The food, and ambiance are great. The portions and price leave something to be desired. Maybe I am becoming a cheap ass in these tough econ times, but if I pay a bit more, I want to be fed. A good date spot.
by Sachiko Loscalzo on Unplanned fun is one of the best funs and after one thing led to another it was starting to get fun and i ended up across the street from here with my buddy devouring a crepe when we saw all these santas in line and had to cross and get in line and go. Didn't let down. Fun band, easy going crowd all into the music, great fun really-real mashups by the band (and by the DJ, too, afterwards), fun dancin crowd to blend into, little absinthe bar was cute. Was the first holiday-theme party i was at this year and all those santas and mashups of xmas songs kinda almost made me feel xmasy besides from just cold. Just wish they took something other than cash.
