by Soso B. on There was a lot of hype about this club so we decided to go there for my friends birthday bash. Everything was bad from the beginning! The bouncers were extremely rude, the worst I've ever encountered! They yell at you to get out of the sidewalk, but give no direction to where one should go. The line is amazingly long, impossible to get in if you're there after 9pm. We had VIP entry and there was nothing VIP about it, unless you consider getting yelled at by the staff, and forced to go through their sobriety checkpoints. We left instead of dealing with those type of bouncers. We preferred to go with a place where fun was a service offered. Ruby sky may want to think of better service regarding their bouncers since they provide the first impression to their venue.
by Vickie D. on This event is great! $10 admission rather than $25. I did not get tickets far enough in advance (online) and was still able to get one at the door. Yes, drinks are expensive. But I think that's a good thing. Drunk people around starfish that you can touch and next to an alligator pit... not a good idea. I had 1 glass of wine and was satisfied with that. The highlight for me was the aquarium downstairs. There are these little jellyfish that are pink and blue. They were awesome! Also, go up to the living roof for the sunset. Beautiful! I was not able to see the planetarium or the rainforest. However, I could have seen them if I had prioritized them. I am going back for sure!
