We started our random Thursday night out at Blur, finding ourselves in a sea of sombrero-wearing, marketing firm coworkers (I gathered this information from eavesdropping on the broad who kept elbowing my shoulder blades in between wooing like a TRL shout-outer) We felt like everyone was in on the inside joke except for us, so we sucked down our cocktails and went to Vertigo. I am terrified of dancing to Jersey Shore soundtrack music sober, so we had a round of pineapple infused vodka shots, which have been fermenting in a giant glass jar for God knows how long. I didn't pay for these so I would have to say they were fantastic. If I DID pay for these, I would rate them "just OK." Everything's better when it's free. Ammiright? We headed out to their smoking room to catch some fresh air, where I found my very own discarded sombrero to wear. After a few more drinks, I found myself alone (still wearing the sombrero), lying about how it was my birthday to some foreign man I perceived to be good-looking at the time. "ARE YOU FROM AUSTRALIA!?" I screamed over the music "NO! TIBET!" he screamed back. "OH. WELL THEN. LET'S PUT ANOTHER SHRIMP ON THE BARBIE!" After I feel I have disproved my intelligence, I like to make a quick exit. While trying to hail a cab, I was offered donuts (which I declined) from passersby and I saw an almost passable tranny's areolae (yes, plural). *extra star for areolae!

Place is A-OK in my book. Went on a Fri night to listen to some Deep House music for Sensations but ended up mainly upstairs where they played Hip Hop only because majority of my friends didn't know how to dance to House. =( We were the first ones there because I heard how they like to hold up the line. It paid off because 2 ladies were promoting Ciroc and offered us free shots of it. Thanks ladies! For me, I can dance pretty much to anything. As long as its got a beat, I can groove to it. They were playing some mellow stuff in the beginning which was actually pretty good then turned it up to some mainstream new school old school stuff once the crowd formed inside. There were alot of nerdy asian guys, including me, then became a bit more diverse later on in the night. Finally went downstair to check out the house floor and I was immediately ready to start housing once I stepped in! Too bad there weren't many people on the dancefloor, but thats ok, more room for me to dance! Too bad it lasted short for me since mi amigos wanted to head back up to the hip hop room.
