We had reservations and actually got up to the raised level in the front of the place which was packed and again gorgeous decor. Waiter was good but the Chilean Sea Bass was burnt and horrible - my date had something but I forgot what it was because she was ummmm forgettable. by Easter Shubert on Not too bad for a bar on the UWS. Drinks are pretty darn cheap for the area- and during happy hour, I spotted some people indulging in a pitcher for themselves because the pitcher was cheaper than getting glasses of beer. Artichoke dip was okay... nothing to write home about.... however bartender was extremely helpful. If I were in the neighborhood strapped for money but desperately wanting to go to a bar, I would probably go there.
by Palmira Sharrett on Beautiful venue with an even more beautiful crowd. They always bring good acts to town, too - including rock, electro, hip hop, soul, jazz, world music, everything. Recent acts have included Diplo, CSS, Dan the Automator, Thievery Corp, etc... Feist, M.I.A., and Dead Prez are comin next.
