We had a very nice and lovely hostess greet us at the door...she was very courteous and did not act like she was queen of the world ,like the hostess at Cabana Club (yeah you Tania). The club itself is beautiful once you walk in. You start off outdoors where's there's a lovely pond with a fireplace lit at the very end of it. Several private cabanas line up on both sides of this pond and I actually would like to come back and use these booths for table service IF I come back with a smaller party and I got extra cash. Since our group was large (30 heads) , we were seated inside right next to the dance floor. We were served our 4 bottles (yeah that wasn't enough for 30 heads) pretty quickly and the waitress did her best to make the drinks even though there was a swarm of thirsty Filipinos grabbing for liquor like their life depended on it. (Sadly I can name a few who do) The dance floor is pretty big and the stage for the dancers is raised up on top of a bar. The dancers are awesome. They make you wish you took dance class and make you hate yourself cause your body doesn't look nearly as hot as theirs. But I don't hate..I just watched them do their thang cause I love to watch people dance for reals..not just stand there and gyrate. Over the main dance floor there is a 2nd level of more tables for more table service...basically there's a lot of tables! There are also lots of places you can just sit if your heels are murdering your feet. The strawberries with chocolate and tacos are FREE which I don't see at all at other clubs. Music was poppin and crowd was pretty mixed. It did get crowded on the dance floor which meant some bumping inot and some spilled drinks....but there was no violence cause the people here weren't stupid and ghetto. It's a nice club and I definitely will be back IF I feel like partying in Hollywood...sadly I never want to unless I owned a limo and a private driver...sigh a girl can wish....

Geno's cheesesteak is pretty decent. I stopped Pat's first simply because Stallone filmed Rocky there and I had a closer parking spot. Geno's obviously looks a lot more flashier than Pat's but the whiz here isn't as good as Pat's and the sandwich itself didn't look as appealing but I can't complain. The service here was just as fast and it hit the spot. I highly suggest first timers to know what they want and have their money ready when they reach the window.

I tend not to go to places that ask you to submit to full cavity searches upon entry and so if it were possible to give this place zero stars, i would. Now, I haven't been out on the night club scene for a while, but this place makes me want to abandon all hope and hang up my dancing shoes. Went there last night for a friends big 3-0 and left just as things were in full ghettofied swing. Strata is typical of most places that tend to the hip hop crowd (Mars 2112 I'm talking to you). Things are overpriced, the music is too loud to even scream over, and everyone acts like their in some low budget rap video.Sure, there as no cover before 12 but the bar wouldn't accept credit card charges under 75 dollars, the ATM had a 3.50 surcharge, the music was as lame as the crowd, and things got uglier then all sin once the dj realized people were drunk enough (read thouroughly ignorant enough) to accept the onslaught of his" Bitches and Hoes" discography. When we got in at 11:30 there were two hoe bags  with bad weaves straddling and fake humping some skinny white dude with locks on the couches who was taking their pics in the empty club as hip-hop blared. Next to them , two old ass chicks were shaking their butts on an empty dance floor.  The place did fill up considerably after 1am though to my dismay. I knew I had to bail on my buddy when I looked to my left and to my right and as far as the eye could see in the considerable darkness ill-tempered hoochies with faces (and bodies) that deserved to be held in the confines of brown paper bags ( or plastic ones if you believe in eugenics)  teetering in cheap shoes started to do the dance of preemptive procreation with individual men( and their boys) who somehow used the overpriced bottles of Hennessey they clutched in their fists while air humping to "superman that hoe" as bait.  Needless to say it wasn't my scene... AT ALL! Best night to go : Never P.S. They don't let you out once you're in.If you want to come back then you have to pay cover again. I was screamed at by a bouncer who informed me that the "smoking section" was closed. Is the sidewalk an official smoking section now?Fucking pricks.
