Beautiful restaurant with gorgeous art pieces. There was a huge waterfall and aquarium like background. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The prices were a bit expensive but worth it because the food was very tasty.

This was my absolute first time eating Ethiopian food and the food was impressively deliciousioso. But bland palette beware. The food here is spicy and definitely has alot of kick! Tasty is the right word even colorful! Being that it was my first time eating Ethiopian, my friend and I ordered the Sampler plate which consisted of: Doro Wat- Tender pieces of chicken gently simmered in a thick red sauce with garlic, ginger, cardamom & onion. Yebeg Alecha- Savory lamb cooked in a mildly spiced sauce with onions and green peppers. Tibs Wat- Tender sauted beef strips cooked in zesty, rich, spicy berbere sauce. & a Vegetarian Combination! It was a good amount of everything and it also came with this satisfying sponge bread. We ate with our hands since that was the traditional Ethiopian way of eating and the food was finger licking good! The service was also excellent. The host made sure we were happily satisfied and our waitress was personable and very attentive. My friend and I didn't have the time go to the jazz room since we had previous engagements to meet up with other friends but we had a chance to hear the band play and we would definitely make a next visit to enjoy all of what Rassela's has to offer. Great food, great service, great music! *****
