When it comes to nightlife, Indiana is a state that places an importance on the performing arts. Some of the most popular places for the performing arts in this state is the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. In addition to this, the Indianapolis Opera is popular as well. Some of the more popular performance are jazz, gospel, and dancing. Indiana is notable for prominently promoting both national and local talents. However, the state also has a prominent club scene as well. Like many states, the nightlife is quite pronounced in the major cities. For Indiana, Indianapolis is the city you will want to visit if you are looking for the best nightlife in the state. You can listen to jazz live every night with the exception of Sunday. If you wish to listen to music from popular artists, you will want to visit the downtown area. In addition to the opera halls, there are entertainment centers where you can play games, eat at restaurants, and dance. There is electronic bowling available as well. Many of the wealthier young people will hang out at Broad Ripple Village. Many students from the local highschool will be present there on the weekends. A number of prominent bands will play at the renovated theaters in the city, and if they are not present, it will be converted into a dance club. In addition to this, there are a number of martini bars available for those who like to drink. Overall, Indiana has a solid nightlife.
