Because New Jersey is close to New York, it has become a popular destination for the club scene. Perhaps one of the most popular cities in this state is Atlantic City. While it was not very prominent in the past, Atlantic City has risen in popularity over the last few years, and some have even compared it to Las Vegas. Indeed, it is famous for having high quality casinos. You will find a large number of clubs that sell high quality cocktails. If you enjoy dancing, you will find a lot of it in New Jersey. The vast majority of casinos in New Jersey will feature a large number of bars. The good news about many of these clubs is unlike Nevada, the dress code is not that stringent. Visitors could get away with dressing casually. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. The more upscale clubs will require you to dress formally after 11 pm. If you are looking for the best bars in the state, you will simply want to talk to the locals that live there. Most of them will be more than happy to suggest to you the best bar. Blues and jazz are extremely popular, and if you like live bands, you will find plenty of them in New Jersey, especially in Atlantic City. Jazz is another style of music that is extremely popular. In addition to the standard music halls, there are also a large number of concerts held on a consistent basis. Overall, New Jersey is an excellent state that has a very good nightlife.
