New Mexico is a state in the Southwest that is known for having a solid nightlife. Some have compared it to Arizona, but it has a number of distinct differences. Perhaps one of the best places for clubs in this state is Albuquerque. The downtown area of this city is notable for having a number of impressive clubs. The dress code for much of New Mexico is casual. Visitors won't have to worry about the issues that they will face in California or Nevada, though New Mexico does not offer as much. If you like to play pool, there are a number of great pool halls in this state. The theme for most establishment is eating and drinking. If you enjoy live music, you will find that a number of acts are performing in Albuquerque on a consistent basis. Mariachi bands are a frequent site in New Mexico, a state that has a strong Mexican heritage. If you enjoy Mexican food and music, you will find that this is a great place to visit. Many of the establishments in this state will have both pool halls and jukeboxes, and these are great places to relax. If you are the type of person that does not care much about dressing fancy, you will find that there isn't much a dress code in New Mexico. You can simply sit down at most places and order a drink without much trouble. In addition to the Mariachi bands, country music is exceptionally popular in the state of New Mexico.
