I went to Lime for a friends farewell party and the area was a little small for us. It was a money and not too busy but the "lounge" was so-so. Overall, the place is nice and they were kind enough to let us pay separately than having to pay as a group.

Fancy Shmancy! I really liked this place. It is well decorated to even the smallest of details. Lamps, chairs, bar, silent movies shown on the walls, tie-clad bar tenders, flapper girls as hostesses. The specialty drink selection is pricey ($13) but good. I had the girliest of drinks because sometimes you just have to. The Mistress Noveaux is vodka, pomegranate and champagne. PERFECT. Too bad it comes in a tiny martini glass, though! I COULD HAVE finished it in one gulp! I did not try, but I noticed a large selection of gin and absinthe (including a little absinthe fairy roaming around...). The dress code is strict although they did allow a guy in front of us with black sneakers in... but with a warning.

People that don't like the Starlight Room are people that have NO SOULS. Okay, damn. I'm an atheist. But, still. This place is beyond awesome. I don't really know how to describe it...Just imagine a handfull of slightly confused Japanese tourists standing in one corner, a group of rowdy Germans doing the 'naughty dance' by the window, and on the dance floor a throbbing mass of young, wanna-be yuppies gyrating to some of the most horribly preformed music you will ever hear in your life. It's like watching four trains collide at once. Sure, it kinda makes you sick but then again...you feel energized by it. Great views, good drinks (crazy expensive, though). But you can really never go wrong with CHEESE. And this place really delivers.
