by Hanney D. on Go here for the drinks, not the food. Overpriced for the quality. I'm sure the quality of the ingredients are amazing, but the execution in the kitchen needs to improve. I tend to dress down here even though people seem to be little more dressed up, because I ALWAYS walk out smelling like I was in a fire. Please get a new vent hood that works. Every time I walk in the place is full of smoke from the kitchen, which should have been a sign to me not to try the food. I had the pork chop & cheese plate. Pork was seasoned well, but it was the toughest little piggy I've ever had. I could barely cut through that sucker. The cheese plate was only so-so - there was not enough bread for the amount of cheese, and the bread was forgettable. I enjoy the atmosphere & trying the beers, but I will probably never eat there again.
by Ja Stoeckert on Note to visitors: Do not share 4 people to a room. I've never in my life heard anyone snore as loud as when I stayed the night at the Roosevelt. The cleanliness of the room, the well stocked over-priced mini-bar, and the incredible pool couldn't make up for the atrocity of this snore. The man sounded like he was screaming in his sleep. I thought someone was getting murdered on the real. Maybe this place IS haunted!
