49 Grove is awful. I mean really awful. The place made me totally claustrophobic with the weirdly low ceilings and so many columns. The carpeted floor made it worse. There was no sense to the décor. Even a kid could have done it better. Our drinks were not at all good. The bartender took soooo much time making them and they weren’t even strong the way I like em to be. The music was terrible too the cheesy 70s one. It just made us so bored that we finally decided to head somewhere else. The whole episode sucked. I am am definitely never going there again. A total waste of time and money.

I went there with my gal pals for drinks and I actually liked the place a lot. It is a cool place to hang out. The DJ was playing some good beats. We had no problem with the bouncers; they let us in very easily. The lighting and stuff was great! The staff was friendly. The crowd was cool…a lot of cute English guys…HAHA!! The drinks the bartender made us were really good especially the shots…I would certainly go back just for that shot. The seating arrangement was a good one and comfortable too. I liked the little red carpet entrance area. I would definitely suggest this place to everyone! Good one!!!!
