by DeeAnne B. on Good food. I do like it. I have been going to Trudy's since about 1993. But something has happened to the service. Queso and Mexican Martinis... awesome. Migas... awesome. Chicken BBQ tacos... awesome. Service... blah. Don't get me wrong. The people that work there are very nice. I can tell that the servers are very nice people. But I think that the training is not so hot, or the management is lacking, or there is some other structural problem. Often, my orders have been confused or forgotten. Or my three-year-old's order was lost. Once my husband and I got our food delivered, but the child's plate came 15 minutes later. If you have a small child, you know how quickly this can ruin an otherwise good time. So go for the food and drinks, but don't expect much in the way of service. Over the last few years, it is has declined.
