by Linda C. on This place is hidden in the alley and it's a bit smaller than other clubs, but bigger than other bars with sufficient dance floor space. The decor is nice and there are pictures of girls everywhere! For happy hour, they have a DJ and the bartenders are cool. I think their well drinks were $5. Good place for groups. On weekends, it turns into a club. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty popping and NO cover! The bouncer was trying to get us to get a table since we were a big group, but we didn't want to pay the $500 minimum. The music was good and although I got a few drinks spilled on me, I had a great time. Oh and they have an outdoor smoking area for all you smokers.
by Babette Okerblom on Used to have killer bands and crazy shit all the time, I vaguely recall old crusty bar staff racing around the bar on tricycles, live musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar and Church of the Subgenius shit. All fun stuff before Burning Man became so pretentious. Now I think they do a lot of DJ parties for really white people from out of town.
