Don't be like us wandering around in skimpy dresses in the rain! Also, the entrance features a huge flight of metal stairs - be careful ladies! I can easily imagine these being easy to fall down after a few drinks and it would NOT be pretty. I came here last Friday night with a huge crew - got there early (10:30) and was on a guestlist (find yourself a promoter!) so had no trouble getting in a bunch of girls and a smaller number of guys who had to pay $20 each. Not too shabby considering there was already a huge mob of men waiting outside in the rain to get in. Went inside, good vibe to the crowd, they had a little Toys for Tots thing going on with some marines there for a photo op. Surprisingly the mixed drinks were only $10 (I think - I actually didn't pay for any hehe). I remember there being music and a small dance floor and the DJ being decent. However, a good portion of the night we spent trying to get our one last friend (male) who showed up late - dang near impossible! Even though we had a lot of girls in our group, he was outside in the line by himself and it took us at least an hour of talking to the bouncers to try to get him in. All in all, a good time, decently priced drinks, staff was friendly, crowd was chill but nothing that special that would bring me back. Next time I meet up with a big group of friends (especially guys) I'm going to a lounge or bar with no cover.
by Cyril Bussler on Ok let me chuckle a little bit before I write this review.. hahahhahahaha ok, while that is said and done this place is a joke. I came here for my friend's bachelorette party and this place is interesting. It reminds me of a meat market but worst. I guess it was fun for my girlfriend's bachelorette party, but I left early, and 15 minutes afterwards they went back to their hotel room. My excuse was a good excuse, I had to go to work, but leaving this place does not require an excuse, it's just crappy.. crappy all around. Guys wearing too much cologne, and girls that dance like they are getting electrocuted! Hilarious! Don't go, unless you want to get rufied and want to find yourself in an alley somewhere in the mission. hahah
by Thuy T. on After Visionshock left highlands and then went to vanguard, i thought, OH NO! What club will i go to on Fridays now? I was hesitant at first to even go to Vanguard because I heard some not so good things about this club. So I finally went for a friends birthday and it was a last minute thing. The night that my friends & I went, it was like a cockfest. I ran into a few people here and there. The patio is really niceee too. I never really got to actually explore this place but I'm returning this Friday for a friend friends bday. So this time, I'm going to explore the parts I haven't seen yet. Well, i wouldn't say it is GREAT...it's actually an okay club.
