by Patricia on I had my birthday dinner here and it was all good things. The food was deeelishhh!!! Great wine selection. The prices were pretty reasonable if you ask me. It’s such a nice and cozy place tucked away nicely in a wall. Very unpretentious staff, nice service. It is everything I wanted to be for my dinner with hubby; dim, quiet and super amazing. I had a great time thanks to ‘Against the Grain’. This place puts you at ease instantly with its totally chill ambiance. So for a relaxing time and good food this is the place to be. Good Times!!!
by Billy on I went here for a dinner party with two of my friends and I think firstly it is a very narrow and small place. I like open spaces better. The candles made me a bit nauseous seriously. It was just too dark for me. I enjoy nice light airy places where you can at least see the other persons face. Okay it was not that dark but….you know what I am saying. The food was not at all what I had expected. It was not flavorful and had nothing that would make me go back. The drink was BLAH too. And I was not happy paying for my portion of the bill coz to tell the truth I had a crappy time.
