It's kind of the same ain't it?  It looks similar but it's not...Even the crowd that goes there now looks like the crowd that went before.   Where were they all those years?  Hibernating?

great place - it used to be a bootlegger's speakeasy in the early 20th century - the secret entrance was through one of the wall panels to the right of the bar.  love the mahoganyish wood bar and noir atmosphere!  Drinks are o.k.  You can actually have a conversation at the bar since the sound from the stage room is somehow buffered.
