by KT M. on Recently went here for a friend's Bachelorette party. I was a little nervous about coming here since a friend of mine told me that when her and her boyfriend and some friends were walking to their cars, someone made a comment about how ghetto the area was. Well, some guy randomly jumped out and confronted their group with a knife, telling them to "watch what you say around my 'hood." Unbelievable! Well,when we showed up at the club, the bouncer couldn't count and read the names on the VIP list. Annoying. Anyway, we had the private VIP cabana with bed with full bottle service. Our waitress was the best! Great music in both rooms as well. The location..well, it was a tad ghetto, but the crowd was pretty cool, minus the drunk man who attempted to massage my back. Creepy. The only downside was that our cabana wasn't roped off at all, it was right by the entrance, and the only thing the club did to show that it was reserved was by putting a bar stool in front of it. Don't bother leaving your purse or camera (or a bottle of grey goose, for that matter) there either if you happen to get that cabana because we came back from dancing twice to find a couple sitting in our cabana and then our waitress informed us that had just kicked out some random guys who were drinking from our bottle of grey goose- ghetto! I had fun that night, but I don't think I would ever come here again.
by Camie Cirigliano on I'm usually in downtown Scottsdale on the weekends unless I'm at my favorite Tempe bar, but when I'm looking for a fun night out with the girls away from the Scottsdale scene, we come to Cherry Lounge & Pit. The bartenders are hot. The drinks are cheap. And there's two rooms where you can dance and chic VIP areas with stipper (er dancing) poles.
