We came here based on a recommendation by a friend as we were on our way to the Atlanta Airport, and we were very pleased! Halfway through our appetizer, we had to head out to catch a flight, and the server was very attentive that we get our food wrapped up as quickly as possible. He was very polite and understanding of our needs even though we had to run out on him so quickly. Management even called us a taxi to rush over. I am going to admit I was a bit hesitant, as I am not a big fan of "southern food" but our server provided recommendations. I'd highly recommend the Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Maryland Crab Cake! The fried chicken salad is also delicious too! (even when the crab cake and salad were packed up and eaten semi-cold at the airport!) The decor is very modern. The restaurant is a bit on the upscale side, as I felt I stepped into the Upper East Side of NYC (but in Atlanta) as I felt everyone was very well dressed and we were a bit on the casual side with jeans and t-shirt. Next door is a cute little bar called Flip Flops with lots of frozen drink flavors.
by Wilmer Lowthorp on sugar was somewhat disappointing for me, went friday for a friend's birthday, promoter offered the "sickest table of the house-the rock candy table".. it was not so impressive and i didnt felt anything "sick" about it. The table was VERY SMALL.. and the rock candies were..... just there. I guess that was the VIP area where we had a special wristband.. there was really nothing VIP about it besides getting bug by the securities everytime we walk in/out from table.. Pros: Girls get in free before 11 (like allll hollywood clubs) Free photobooth! (although it takes about 10 min to develop the photos) Good music Delicious hotdog booth outside!!!! haha Cons: Small Decor/Club just not worth what you're paying for~ Weird smoking area (they were sofas in there but we were'nt allowed to sit on them??) Expensive drinks (ok for hollywood standard though) Ridicious $20 parking!!! Probably won't go back there was nothing special about it.. Ritual across from the street seems much more fun!
