I come to Jillian's because they usually have the hockey game on the center screen, which is good for me. If the food and service were better, I'd probably even enjoy my visits a little more. The food is...alright. It's the same quality as any other American chain restaurant. Recently, I had the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich - it came as-described on the menu, with a side of house potatoes, but wasn't anything special. A little flavorless, the potatoes were a tad undercooked; it wasn't bad, but I probably will never have a want for it again. I think the only thing I'd ever really recommend is the goat cheese salad, but that's only offered on the dinner menu. The service here is pretty low, and the last time I was here (yesterday) the server actually tossed our bill on the table without saying anything. Kinda rude. The servers also check on you infrequently, so you might have to wait a good 15 minutes in order to flag someone down to get another beer, which really isn't cool in my book when you are sitting in the bar area. The beer selection is okay - off the top of my head, they have about 8-10 on tap, including: Sierra Nevada, Boddingtons, Anchor Steam, Blue Moon, Stella, Guinness, and Fat Tire. I'm pretty sure they had a Hefeweizen and a seasonal on tap, too. Be forewarned, though, I've been here twice (early, too) where I've heard the bartender tell a patron that the beer they requested was out on the tap. Lame.
