i like this place. Came here for 90s night with a small group of friends, I believe cover was $10. They had now & laters and lemon heads at the door... awesome. The crowd was really chill, good mix of different people, lots of young hipsters, some fidi ppl, some random ppl. the music was good, i love my 90's jams, also played some new stuff. I like that there are 2 bars, 2 dance floors, lots of room to move around. Super easy to let loose, never felt like ppl were awkward or judgy, really chill. the art was pretty cool, lots of sketches and paintings, modern stuff, comic book stuff, explorations in sexuality, sculptures and models, sock puppets... really fun to wander around and stare at it all I def want to come back for one of their bigger events, this place is def worth checking out

I don't live in the neighborhood, but this place has somehow become my local watering hole anyway. The bartenders are always friendly, always upbeat, always generous, and sometimes even light their nipples on fire. My favorite gay bar ever! On weekday nights (or days for that matter), the place has a cozy, friendly vibe. On Fridays, they have a great drag show that starts at about midnight. On Saturdays now, Winona Juggs has started up a night with entertainment for boys AND girls, straights, gays, and everything in between! It's called "Spunk!" and it is loads of fun. Throughout the night, you will see girls AND boys gogo dancing and performing burlesque acts. Ms. Juggs has hired Lily LeRouge and myself as the main female burlesquers and SF Boylesque for the boylesque (obviously), but you can also see other popular San Francisco burlesque acts such as The Indra, Sweet Cheeks, The Cock-Ts, and more! Each week has a different theme, so call or drop by to find out what the theme is so you can dress up! Too much fun!
