by Tim E. on Only in S.F can you have such a fantastic venue. Bad ass D.J's, completely fascinating cliantele from all facits of life. Indeed, if you don't like electronic/house genres of music, you will be in hell at the end up. My advice would be to go back to the fucking Marina and find a cozy place with a good Jack Johnson cover band... The only shitty time I have ever had at the endup was when I acciidentally showed up for fucking Regae night...I loathe Regae, It's cool if your on a chicken bus in the Carribean, other then that, it sucks......
by Bradley Herron on where do i begin? vertigo is by FAR my favorite place to go out in the city for a night of drankin' & dancin' for 3 reasons: 3. cheap drinks. i think. i have never purchased one here but i hear the prices are good and that it is cash only. if i have purchased a drink here, i cannot recall what it was, or how much it costs, which is also a testament to how great this place is. 2. smoking room. when i need a break from shaking my thing like britney did before she got knocked up, i escape to the smoking area. nothing makes me happier than being able to light up without having to go outside. nothing. 1. and the number one reason why vertigo is my favorite place in the city, maybe even the world? ELEVATED DANCING SURFACES. need i say more?
