by earl g. on On looks alone this place deserves 5 stars. Went here after a group dinner at Borobudur down the street. Everyone was impressed with the look of this lounge. The red lights flashin', underground hip hop breakbeats thumpin', movies projectin', funky chairs loungin', funky modern artwork blingin'. I think I'm likin' The look reminds me of Vegas without all the attitude and better yet no cover. The service and waitstaff was inefficient, but whatever, the space still looks hot. Tried some of their warm brownie ala mode and ordered a bunch of their signature drinks. Typically, signature drinks are something you do well, the drinks here weren't really done well. I ordered this gin, chile, cucumber, cilantro drink. On paper it sounds good, but it wasn't executed properly. I had little bits of cilantro stuck in my teeth and it just wasn't great. The girls didn't really like their drinks either, melon mojito, some pop rocks drink. I'd probably stick to something simple that you can't mess up, like vodka tonics and rum and cokes. But I'd probably go back, because the space is still looks pretty hot.
by Modesto Mcwatters on I have only been here twice. First time was in the middle of summer and it was soo wall-to-wall and HOT that I walked right out. Then I went to a bday party there this past weekend and it was the same deal- too many people! The music has been accurately described by others. So yeah for dancing it is fun. I personally don't like going places where you have to yell to talk to someone. You have to get way too close to people to talk. The party I went to had a room reserved and it reminded me of a little airport lounge. I would only go here for an event ie bday party never just a night out to go out and have fun and meet people. I probably would have loved this place in college.....
