Greenhouse. I usually like to research a place before I go and that's exactly what I did before I went to Greenhouse this past Friday. I thought it was pretty cool that a club had gone "green" so I was really excited to check it out. I read all about the LED lights and bamboo flooring. Well the first plus for me was parking. I didn't have to circle around a million times like I usually do when I party elsewhere. I'm guessing because that area doesn't have a lot of clubs nearby? Who knows. Second plus was no line!!! I'm guessing this is because the club is still fairly new? Oh well, not like I wait in line anyway, lol. I did overhear some girl say she forgot her ID and the door guy let her right in. Attention YOUNG-INS!!! lol. Not sure if I should really be announcing that, but I was 19 once... so why not share the wealth. you have more fun when your not 21 anyway. lol. the good ol' days! Anyways, my bf and I got right in after the door guy instructed my bf to go check his coat. sure. We walked into a crowd of beautiful people, flashing LED lights, and lit sparklers for the table that just ordered champagne. (The LED lights go with beats of the music.) They were also filming for something that night. Well, it was your typical club scene. the usual rich kids/socialites, rich older men, blonde fake boobie girls, promoters, and the chicks that party with promoters. the crowd was sexy though - it's always nice to be surrounded by beautiful people. And it wasn't as pretentious as lets say, Tenjune. The music however, was a little funky and somewhat random.. It lacked a bit more hip hop for my taste. I guess it just wasn't that kind of crowd. I only saw one bar when I was there. I didn't really feel like walking around and I didn't go to the bathroom all night so I cant fill you in on that. I do agree with everyone else though, the bar IS small!!! I guess they are more of a bottles/table club. Now that I look back, there really wasn't a dance floor either. The club is just tables and more tables. What's the point of a dance floor when all the drunk girls dance on couches! lol. I eventually checked my coat and it was so annoying to walk down all those stairs half drunk and in heels! I don't think having coat check "downstairs" is a good idea for any club. Can you imagine how many drunk people, especially chicks in heels must fall or slip?? OOO MAN. One last plus was the LOCATION! It's right outside the holland tunnel so I was home in no time! 7 minutes to be exact. :D Overall I had a great experience.  I'm actually going back tonight for a friends birthday. So if my views change or if I have anything more to add, I will! I mean it is Wednesday so it will probably be better tonight. NYC clubs are so much better on the weekdays.

During any night of the week, there is always something going on in this great lounge.  Happy hour deals that include an AYCD, half off appetizers, platter specials, and even beer discounts are normal events that happen here weekly.  The food is somewhat limited in variety, as their drink specials play the more dominant role on their menu.  Food wise, a favorite in the house is definitely the Bulgoki Doria and their Anju appetizer selection is fantastic. The fruit soju cocktails are great as are their bottle choices, which are extremely inexpensive.  Ambiance wise it is dark, but stylishly decorated with couches bordered with tables that have a view of K-Town.  The place is streaming with US top 40 and smooth Korean songs playing in the background.  Service has always been great, very quick and friendly. Edit (10/03):  The Happy Hour Deals are going downhill, as the $12 AYCD has become $14, with only Miller and Bud for drinks.  Major UGH.

I've never eaten here in my life.  I have this notion about the quality of food at restaurants that have a need to turn itself into a club after 10 o'clock.  Decor is nice I think...everything looks better when the lights are dim and I have more than a few glasses of champagne in me. Been here 3 times and had fun 2 of the 3 -- this past Saturday being the second fun time here.  Not that the music was particularly good, nor were the drinks the best.  It wasn't the walking waterfall that kept bumping into me and drenching me in his sweat...well, you know, cuz every girl loves that at a club. I had fun because of these three things:  my group of friends, and the two VERY pleasing-to-the-eye bouncers.  And this place is so small, they would walk around once every few minutes.  I was so content at just admiring these two beauties, that I didn't even mind the guy that kept stepping on my already-aching toes because he couldn't see where he was going.  I think his view was obstructed by Cousin Itt sitting on his head...
