by Megan L. on Say what you will but there will always be a place in my heart for cheap drinks, country music, and some good ol' two steppin'. It does get really crowded but let's be honest, nothing cures a crowded dance floor like lots and lots of cheap drinks. They also play lots of regular music for the rest of your friends to be able to shake their booties. I'm not saying I would go to this place every week but it is definitely a nice, fun change if you're looking for something different!
by Rocky Womble on This venue ties up with GAMH as my favorite place to see music in SF. I love the decor, the sound and that pretty much everywhere in the joint has a good view (except the bar). My favorite story from Bimbo's is when I saw Matthew Sweet and my friend and I snuck on his tour bus--hot! If hot means us standing there like total goofs while watching Matthew get a back rub from some ho--and then finally leaving without saying a word--but f-it we got on the bus!! Woohoo!
