Wow!  I am really disappointed with this restaurant.  The food was absolutely unacceptable.  I ordered Paella - well that's what they called it on the menu anyway.  It wasn't a Spanish Paella.  It wasn't even a modern interpretation of Paella.  It was some whitefish, a few shrimp, a couple crumbles of chorizo-colored byproduct (I really think it was spam), and a very small amount of rice.  No crunchy bits at all!  It was served in a pasta bowl.  It also had quite a bit of sauce, which is surprising, since Paella doesn't have sauce. My partner had Spaghetti.  It was very sour and had about 10 strands of spaghetti noodles. I took a trip to the hidden bathroom to find that many a straight, drunk guy had pissed all over the walls, making it smell like a hole-in-the-wall bar bathroom. The ONLY reason this restaurant is getting two stars is that the waiter was very efficient and friendly. Also, the Metreon has gone down the tubes since Westfield took it over.  There's absolutely no reason to go there.

Wow. Words cannot adequately describe this place. I was visiting ATL for two weeks - a guy working at the office where I was working offered to meet me at Fat Matt's for ribs. After we were done, he asked if I wanted to go to the Clermont. What the hell, why not? We walked past the doorman and headed in for the bar. The Clermont has a crud bar vibe, but with the additional attraction of.....ummmmm......a unique stable of strippers. My acquaintance was a regular here, which was kind of scary, now that I think about it. Eclectic crowd, cheap drinks, great people watching. I would return if I make it to Atlanta again.

Happy Hour Wednesday is cool. Well there is a $5 dollar cover, but that's okay since there are coupons for $1 buds and other happy hour specials. First, get a drink like beer, chill and talk to your friends and other people.  Then, get another drink so you can feel a little tispy. Lastly, get on the dance floor and start sweating it out. Dancing is an exercise, so you should consider it as a day a the gym (drink light beer). They usually close at about 10pm, so it's the perfect time to either go home or take the party somewhere else. That's a happy hump Wed.
