by Daphney B. on It's a nice walk from Hyde Park and usually not too busy. I prefer sitting on the outside covered patio side of the restaurant. Down side of the outside is the wind: they let the "Non-Smoking Area" sign fall on me twice without trying to secure it. Boo! You MUST have a Mexican Martini because you get a free coooooozi-yay free stuff!
by Amanda G. on I really like this bar! If you want to unleash to some 80s/ early 90s music and get your groove on, this is the place! I went in my first time for a birthday party, got there early and was little weirded out by the large (at the time) completely empty warehouse looking room BUT the place gets PACKED! Get there before 10 on weekends. We were lucky enough to get a table because I hawked after one, but it sucks if you don't have a place to put your stuff or sit down for a bit. Bartenders were great - made good drinks and managed the large-ass crowd somehow. I was mostly with the party so I dunno about the rest of the crowd. PS there is a cover.
by Lynsey Kerntke on Delicious food that's a cut above diner grub. Never before had I ordered meatloaf in a restaurant. This was not Mom's meatloaf. But it was indeed delicious. The portions are so huge that I haven't yet had room for the legendary chocolate bread pudding. I'll have to make a special trip for that.
