by Lea S. on Any place that has onion rings the size of my fist is getting five stars. I tried to talk to my boyfriend while eating here, but couldn't. Why? Because my face was stuffed with delicious food. The service was really friendly and attentive! I have been to Bobby's twice. First time I got the classic. The burger was cooked perfect, and the ingredients fresh. Second time I decided to get the texas, but went with chicken breast. Not a mis-step folks! Again delicious. Also they have chipotle ketchup. After having this ketchup I feel the new standard should be chipotle ketchup. I don't even understand why anyone would have regular ketchup anymore. This is a problem for me, because now when I go to other resturants I just throw the ketchup bottle on the floor. I have been thrown out of three places so far.
by Mee-Sun Y. on Brunos is a great place to go if you're planning an outing for a large group of friends -- birthdays, going away sendoffs, the end of a work week, whatever! And here's why: + It's casual. It's not too fancy and not too dive-y, so it's a great neutral choice if you're trying to accommodate the preferences of a bunch of finicky people. + You can dance. The music is pretty dependable, but the dance floor could stand to be a bit bigger. Push your way to the front because there's a huge fan! Seriously, it's money. + You can get drinks pretty fast. There's one main bar and two smaller ones on the first floor, so there's good alcohol access! On one occasion though, it was super crowded and getting a drink took a bit longer (I think it was the night of Lovefest). + YOU CAN SIT! I love clubs that let you sit. Girls, you can rest up after dancing in heels. And guys, you don't have to hear your girls complain about their feet! Call in advance and you can reserve a table for free. They make you a little name card and everything. I always have a good time here, but I couldn't give it the last star because you'll most likely hit the $10 cover AND we got coat-jacked one time. Remember you're in the Mission, watch your stuff!
by Yaeko Eurbin on Cielo's good for those times when your feet just wanna move. I like that it doesn't get so packed that you feel like you can't breathe. The music is good and crowd is generally not as pretentious as you might find at some of the other meatpacking places. I'm not a fan of paying cover though so...
