We came to Coda on January 14th for a 8:30pm reservation and stayed for the show afterwards, there was a $5/person charge to keep our table for the performance. Ambiance is excellent; the interior of Coda is modern, comfortable and intimate. The center of attention is clearly the stage. Our female server was attentive and offered an introduction to the menu since it was our first time at Coda. The complimentary rosemary bread and butter is very good; we thought it tasted better than the rosemary toast and sauce trio offered on the menu. We chose the Israeli cous-cous and the sautéed mushrooms as our sides, both were good. For our entrees, we selected the Wagyu burger and the chevre ravioli; the burger was ordered medium and was very flavorful. The food was good, not amazing, but a great offering of variety for a jazz club venue. In the future, I would stick to meat entree offerings and buy more drinks instead of starters or sides.

The fine state of California has a law that says there can be no sales of alcohol between 2 and 6 AM. However, there's no law against dancing like an asshole with a bunch of other retards at those hours. And there's no law about not selling bottles of water for $4 bucks a pop! Too bad, cause it's a crime!

My experience here was good. It was my first time here yesterday for the remedy event (kaskade). I bought tickets in advance online for $13 waited in line for 3 min., girl:guy ratio to about 3:2 and well a lot of Good Vibes. Its a pretty big venue, 3 bars located one in the 1st floor, 2 on the 2nd. drinks are relatively cheap, $6 for a vodka tonic. Place is open till late 4 am i believe.
