by Lou Weltmer on I came here for an event so my review isn't accurate of what normally goes on at Avalon. But they shouldn't hold any other special events because the lights were on brighter than normal and it wasn't pretty. They should just stick to the nightclub lighting.
by Dante Amador on not too bad its a pretty good looking place but its not very intimate the way the place and dance floor is laid out. its not super nice or high class feeling at all like it looks like in the pictures. beer is $5, mixed drinks seemed to be $12 each from what i was charged. bartenders and bouncers were courteous. there is a lot of asians, seemed like a lot of not good/bad looking girls just sitting around if you're into that kind of thing. music is not very good, song selection was bland, and songs would play for maybe 60 seconds then skip to the next.

The crowd can be a bit much, and the drink prices are outrageous [I advise you to make friends with the host or promoters] but whatever--the music's GREAT and the spotted celebs make for a good time.
