by Mandy W. on This was my first experience at Exchange LA... and it was with my girls! Came here to meet up with our other girl friends and have a good time... and hey! Not too shabby. Parking: Pretty easy to find. If you're looking for street parking, you might be looking for a while. BUT if you're looking for a nearby structure, there's one conveniently located no more than a block down for the low... low price of $5. LIKE! The wait: Next to nothing! Arrived around 11pm on a Saturday night... and there was pretty much no wait! Sure, there were... maybe... 5 or 6 people ahead of us, but we were in the club in no more than 5 minutes. AND no cover charge. ABSOLUTELY LOVE! Venue: Through the crowds of people, I think the decor was nice? The first floor... restrooms and the second floor, dance floor and bars. There are quite a bit of stairs going upstairs and down... and if you're someone that needs to visit the restroom fairly often, this climb might get tougher and tougher as the night goes on... Other than that, THUMBS UP! Pretty nice. The people: Mostly Asian... and mostly Asian guys at that. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed that there weren't more girls... We were totally outnumbered. However, everyone was nicely dressed and ready to impress. DEFINITE LIKE! The music/dance floor: NICE. I liked the music... The only problem is that it gets crowded. Lots of people are trying to get through from one end of the room to the other, but what can you expect? You just have to find your own little spot. Would definitely come back again.... Maybe next time, I'll have a little more to drink... shot of crown: $11. ** Also, there's a hot dog (maybe, dirty dog) stand right outside the venue. If you think you're going to be hungry or just craving a hot dog after a night of clubbing... be sure to bring cash.
by Jana S. on How could anyone not love Vessel? Girls get to dance on tables and you're underground in a "vessel." Doesn't get much better. I once made it rain here, that's right people, RAIN. This place is neat, good music and the unisex bathrooms are kept tidy. Get on a guest list so you don't have to look ridiculous and stand in that awful line.
by Shane Anspaugh on I had always heard lots of great stories about Bootie from friends, but never got the chance to experience it till now. It's one of the best parties I've ever been to at a dance club. Smash-Up Derby really had the crowd going and the DNA Lounge is a fantastic venue. The people here are totally comfortable to be around and everyone is super friendly.
