by Rick V. on Food is very good. The meatball appetizer is amazing and a meal itself. The drinks are strong and the staff friendly. We went downstairs to the club and was pretty nice. Very good DJ and beautiful space. If you can get in I highly recommend Lavo the restaurant and club.Hottest spot in the City for a reason.
by Rachel K. on I selfishly hope that Red House Lounge doesn't become too popular. It's laid back, everyone there has come to kick back with some friends, and the bartenders are more then generous in their pouring of libations. I love going here on a Sunday night for a drink or two. Try a grapefruit mimosa or martini and if you're a beer drinker, they do serve giant goblets of whatever's on tap that aren't to be missed. A great alternative to the Draught House.
by Kaye Blurton on My friend's boss knows the owner, so she had been to this club before the grand opening and suggested it when we were looking for a fun place to go Friday night. Once we got there, the door guys were really nice, and the coat check girl was super friendly. Good signs all around. The space itself is beautiful. The layout was nice and I loved the fact that there are two entrances/exits for the unisex bathroom. It makes it so much easier to navigate! If you didn't reserve a table, there's nowhere to sit. The staff was nice enough to let my friends and I rest for a bit until the party that paid for the table arrived, so that was cool. It was easy to get the first couple of drinks, but once it got packed, it was nearly impossible. I stood at the bar for about 15 minutes and all I wanted was water! I'm not the annoying, pushy kind of patron that snaps my fingers or waves money frantically hoping to catch the bartender's eye, but I sure felt like I wanted to. After being looked in the eye SEVERAL times by the female bartender and ignored, I gave up and my friends and I left. Maybe I'll come back -- if I'm not thirsty or already drunk.
