by Mauricio Holpp on I wish I could give it 3.5 stars cuz I would but I truly can't give it 4 stars. Now it does get 5 stars for setting and ambiance. The room is beautiful. These guys spent some serious coin on the layout and decor. That being said the food was just OK. We had a private dinner in the PDR upstairs for 18 people. The room overlooked the dining room which was definitely a scene. The service was attentive and courteous but not truly warm or memorable. We were never without anything but it was a bit methodical. The meal flowed well. The tuna tartare was good as was the Filet. The chocolate dessert was very tasty. It was like a flourless chocolate brownie with a hot gooey center with housemade vanilla bean ice cream. All in all it was good but not great.
by Joey P. on First off, I don't go out nearly as much as I used to, nor am I in the hollywood scene, but I must say this place is one my favorites in all of Hollywood. I didn't read any of the other reviews but I am sure a lot of people complain of not getting in and the people at the door being busters, but I don't ever really worry about things like that. + the place has an unbelievable layout with a beautiful outdoor loungy cabana area and the inside has one gigantic dance floor with a central bar and few little random rooms with bars scattered elsewhere. Not sure if you have ever been to Light in Vegas but really reminds of that spot. Im not sure for the ladys but the bathrooms are line-less usually even when the place is packed. Random guy walking around on stilts the whole night dancing, pictures, even climbing onto the second floor. Great gogo dancers that are VERY talented. Love the outside patio, very classy. Big club so no bumping into each other. Went there for the first time like 4months ago and went back this past weekend to surprisingly find that it is still poppin. Parking is easy and if you don't want to valet its all good, your on sunset blvd. not holllywood so you can park a minute away and walk. If your thinking about getting a bottle service somewhere, this place is pretty great. I don't usually get bottles at clubs but I have twice here because you really feel like a gentlemen meaning it is worth it. Like a vegas baby vegas feeling in hollywood and its not that pricey. - So this depends on your taste but when I go clubbing I am not a big fan of techno or old school (I love big butts and I cannot lie, ice ice baby, YMCA), I just want Hip-Hop with a few old school jams here and there but nothing crazy. But this place changes it up a little too much with a weird mixture. ex. 50cent song mixed into Madonna. hard to get in unless you know how to make it happen - CONFIDENCE not money. P.S. I think you can just go to the website and just get on the list...guy or gal. But they still enjoy giving you a hard time. The name of the club is kinda whack. Heads up, did notice some trannys role through kinda late in the night. ;) Overall: Its HOT FIRE! Definitely recommend.
