by MARIA P. on to make this as unbiased as possible i will begin by saying that techo is not my thing. so from there i will say that the venue is very nice, there is ac which you can feel throughout the lounge. there is a dance floor so its good for dancers. on this particular night (a saturday) there were a ton of old people, (my parents age). there was not a lot of attractive people and the music was techno. techo is cool if they play other stuff as well i cant listen to techo all night, it was so crowded this chick had to hit me and push me just to get through. we ended up leaving after having been there for 30 mins. i am giving it a three because the venue was nice.
by Shannon Stobbs on What to do on hump day after work? Let's go dancing!! Where? Starlight! My friends and I love the fact that it's on top of the hotel overlooking Union Square. I'd press my forehead against the cool glass window while admiring the night view from above. The place is classy, drinks are good even it's on a pricier side but they give you quality alcohol... cheap alcohol gives me headache! Music is a mixture of R&B, Pop and 80's. The toilet is well decorated, clean and a selection of hand lotions, eau de toilette, even chewing gum for you. Of course you'll tip the lovely attendant. She's the only one stuck in there while everybody is having a good time! The crowd is well dressed and non-agressive. Then again there's no guarantee but so far we like the atmosphere there. The best place to take a picture with your friends together is by the bar area where there is a wall of old picture frames with the famous :) Go early, there is always a LINE.
by allie c. on first time i cam here on Halloween Opening Night 2 years ago, hatedddd it! came here again a few months ago on a Saturday Night, lovvvvved it. if it's still like that, i would highly reccomend it. good music and good drinks is all that matter (if you don't have your own table or a promoter, clubs SUCK.) the usual crowd, guys with $, girls who flirt with guys with $ so they don'thave to buy drinks, and the promoter with his entourage. if you like to dance, it is fun times. def fun times =) Music: 5 Crowd: 4.5 Atmosphere: 5+
