by Heather C. on I'm pretty sick of this club.. I mean it's in a pretty cool neighborhood but the club just sucks! It is 2 floors but I just don't know why I dislike this place so much. The smoking rooms are boo boo because there is no ventilation so when your smoking in there you can't even see the person in front of you and you can't even breathe! Find a better club to go to.. I always avoid this place.
by Sarah G. on I am addicted to mojitos. Seriously...if there was a support group for mojitos addicts I should probably sign up. So when I found out there was a place that had 24 different kind of mojitos at a restaurant within walking distance to me I KNEW I had to go. I ordered a pomegranate mojito. It was ok...sadly...it really did not feed my mojito craving. Onto the food. We had the guacamole which was made at your table. Once again...average.. For $10 guac it really should be f-ing awesome...and this was just kind of bland and boring. I will say the chicken taquitos we ordered were very tasty. For our dinner we shared some steak fajitas. Which were once again just average. I was very sad. This mojito mecca did just not live up to my expectations. I guess I am still searching for my mojito "go to" place in NYC. Any suggestions? Let me know!
by Douglas Alvizo on Maybe I've accepted the fact that I'm not a rockstar so paying $20 bucks to hear incredible house music in a top notch club in NYC is a reasonable expense. I went to Cielo over a year ago to hear Josh Wink spin and was very impressed by the acoustics and the interior design. If you wanted you could dance arms-length apart and still have a conversation. Hopefully you can come up with something clever to say to dance closer because the bass and treble line up perfectly. I've never heard a better sound system so anyone that knows of a venue with better sound quality please PM me!!
