by Mayra A. on Wow I was blown away by this place. The food deserves 5 stars but I have to take away a star for the crappy service. As a table we had the pepperoni and sausage calzone that was to die for. Great flaky baked crust served with a side of marinara sauce. The greek salad was nothing super special but cold and lightly dressed with lots of feta and kalamata olives which is a plus. We also had the roasted chicken pizza which was delicious minus the hour wait on it. The atmosphere is nice especially if you love drinking beer outside and eating pizza just don't go if you are in a rush.
by Jason W. on I have been to 222 several times and its a cool spot to chill out, listen to local DJ's, and catch a drink. Really, if it were not for other friends, supporting their events, and so on. I probably would not spend too much time here. To me it is pretty much a average location and great for a few drinks and then moving on to other spots. Don't get me wrong, this is a cool spot. I really dig the setup in this place. However it is rather small and it does get super thick in there. I am not one to complain about small bars but sometimes it is overwhelming and navigating between the bar and back room, both super small, is a bit of a cluster fuck. However, that aside, this place is a avg spot to chill out and peep local talent.
by Merle Esteen on Man Hating Bar Tender Kills the Atmosphere. On New Years eve I spent $60 to get in and was repeatedly given attitude by the bar tender (long blond hair). I am always polite and tip well. It's a bit insulting, considering how respectful I was and how much I paid to get in. She put a damper on the mood and detracted from the clubs atmosphere.
