They gave me this ketchupy looking sauce, but it tasted like honey and bbq mixed together. It took over 5 minutes to get a drink refil. Overall this place rocks, and everybody I sat with loved their food.
by Elliott R. on The atmosphere is great. A wonderfully done restaurant/bar space that was comfortable and very relaxed. The menu is awesome and the flavor pairings are very non-traditional...which I can appreciate I can't wait to go through all their offerings. Chocolate Chix Wings...I haven't had that dish in a LONG time. I'll let you know how it taste. I had the Calamari and Chipolte Aioli and it was certainly up to snuff. I also ordered a LI Ice Tea and it was weak, so as Stephanie M stated, the bar needs to get up to speed. All in all, I enjoyed myself and I can't wait to make my way through the menu.
by biba K. on I love Cielo. Everytime I go to NYC, I always go to Cielo to see Louie Vega plays. I like the atmosphere, the place, the crowds (they all know how to dance house music really well). hehehe.... I always had a good time there, they're just friendly, got style goin on and just luv n luv it. The later it is, the music become so much groove, more beat and you just forgetting the time. Variety of people, european, whites, blacks, japanese, jamaican, asian.....everybody. Place is minimalistic, but still casual, no dress code, no VIP stuff. Actually good Dj's play at Cielo on diff night, I just haven't got the chance to check them out, like Tedd Patterson, Nicolas Mattar, Francois K, etc...... House music all nite long !!!!
