ya know the food here really was quite good. the app 1 + app 2+ entree combo really does the trick, and although I was hesitant to get the sweet manhattan ripoff it was actually damn good. while it may not be for all, i loves eating in the middle of a club. anyone who has been inside this place knows the lighting/decor/ambiance is pretty awesome - which provides for a great dinner (assuming you're into the trendy i'm-staying-at-the-w sort of mood). the service left something to be desired, but I'd still go back here in a second.

Prague is no joke. I make a living in the nightclub business and have worked and played in the hottest nightclubs in the world and all I have to say is that for an Austin, TX lounge, Prague hits the mark. The staff at Prague is definitely an A+ staff from service to looks and the atmosphere is on par with lounges in Los Angeles and Miami. I was very pleasantly surprised. Im still not ok with not being able to smoke in a club, but I guess thats just an Austin thing so I cant really hold it against them. We had a table on the VIP stage and were given access to the fridge which contained party favors such as beer, water, red bull, and even a disposable camera and some condoms. This is the kind of extra perk that I only expect in larger markets such as Vegas or Miami. They really know their stuff!

Maybe I'm a bit partial to this place, I've been going here for years. But it's an old reliable. Great music*, you know the kind where you're dancing and you say out loud "i haven't heard that in forever" and everyone else on the floor thinks the same thing, then the floor goes crazy. WHEW! Yes, one of THOSE nights. The crowd is unpretentious w/ no dress code. But it has been getting younger (or is it that I've been getting older?) Never the less the drinks are average priced, bartenders are nice. Just a good-to-get-down type of place. *always really good hip-hop: mix of old school/classic NYC (grandmaster flash/wu-tang), underground (talib/souls of mischief), radio play stuff, rnb, reggae
