My first gay bar/club and believe me it's really worth experiencing. Nice decor, friendly staff, great music , pricey drinks, and co-ed bathrooms! Trigger gets crowded as the night gets older. I went on a Thursday night and it was really chill. Everyone had one goal in there -- to get drunk! The AMF is really strong and the ammaretto sours are highly addictive.

Last time I visited Atlanta, my sister took me to White Windmill Bakery & Cake in Pleasant Hill. I was pretty impressed with this Korean bakery because they carry a variety of Moonstruck chocolates on top of their breads and I love the design of their business card! This time my sister said I shouldn't miss its headquearters. She's right. I was immediately impressed by what I saw as soon as I walked in. This is French inspired bakery & cafe. The interior decor is quaint and warm. Even the corner around the restrooms is reminiscent of a French countryside cottage. My only question is the location. I don't think this is an ideal neighborhood for such a romantic cafe. Anyway, my sister and I had a good time. We ordered some drinks and fruit tarts. I am not usually a big fan of pastries especially cakes with sweet filling. But I have to say I actually enjoyed their raspberries fruit tarts. I don't like the taro bubba drinks I had though. The "taro" is artificial. I knew their breads are pretty good so I bought some and brought them all the way to California!

Proof that New York hasn't totally lost it's cool. While totally renovated and expanded- bravo Serge! - this former tiny house-head sweatbox has been transformed into a cave of endless possibilities. And with the fantastic new sound system in place, it'll be attracting even bigger DJs than it already has. The crowd on any given night is as mixed as it comes: some hard-core partiers, some trust-fund babies, some Jersey trash, some nouveau New York club kids, and recently some hot hot rateclubsers. We were lucky enough to score the venue for our first ever open community party and it did not disappoint. DJ Van Scott burned up the turntables, and the bar staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Space to shake your thing, space to lounge around, space to get freaky in the back (not naming names...), all nestled in a hidden basement on Sullivan Street. Look for the double doors and the sign that says "214 Frieght 218." You will not be disappointed.
